Rosario Celebrates 300 Years with Cultural Events

The city of Rosario arrives in Buenos Aires to present a calendar of cultural and sports events for its tricentennial. Highlights include the ATP Challenger featuring Sebastián Báez and various festivals.


Rosario Celebrates 300 Years with Cultural Events

The Santafesina city of Rosario arrived in Buenos Aires to present its distinguished calendar of cultural and sports events as part of the start of its tricentennial. On Tuesday, January 28, at the Casa de Santa Fe in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, a special event will take place under the slogan "Give Rosario to your heart."

Among the most notable proposals are the FARO Festival, ATP Rosario Challenger, Noches del Lunario, Night of Museums and Theaters, Cumbión del Paraná, Night Marathon of Sonder, Festival De la Patria Mía, Carnivals, and Give more Rosario to your heart. During this event, the first scheduled activities for the tricentennial of Rosario will be announced.

The events calendar includes a wide variety of proposals ranging from outdoor concerts featuring national and international figures to high-level sports events, such as the participation of tennis player Sebastián Báez in the main draw of the ATP Rosario Challenger. Báez, originally from San Martín, is the highest-ranked Argentine in the ATP ranking and will compete in the tournament to be held from February 2 to 9 at the Jockey Club of Rosario.

In addition to Báez, eleven other Argentine tennis players will participate in the tournament, including Juan Pablo Ficovich, Andrea Collarini, Facundo Mena, Santiago Rodríguez Taverna, Juan Bautista Torres, Genaro Alberto Olivieri, Renzo Olivo, Alejo Lingua Lavallén, Lautaro Midón, and Luciano Ambrogi. The event for the tricentennial of Rosario will also feature a theatrical program, free guided tours, and various cultural proposals in public and private spaces.
